Beware of scams: Zimpler will never ask you to pay invoices via SMS
We have been made aware of fraudulent SMS messages impersonating Zimpler. These messages falsely claim that a payment has been denied and direct recipients to a fake customer service number. Please be aware that these messages are a scam.
What Zimpler will never do:
- We will never send invoices via SMS
- We will never ask you to make a payment via text message
- We will never ask you to call a number to resolve payment issues
- We do not offer “buy now, pay later” payment options
How to identify the scam:
- You receive an SMS stating that your payment has been denied and that an invoice has been sent via mail
- The message asks you to pay within a certain number of days
- It provides a fake customer service number
- The sender falsely claims to be Zimpler
What to do if you receive a suspicious message:
- Do not click any links or call the number provided
- Do not share any personal or financial information
- Report as spam by forwarding the message to number 7726 as per the Swedish Police Department’s instructions
- Block the sender to prevent further messages
- Make a police report if you have shared information or made a transaction as a result of the text message. You can find information on how to issue a Police report on the Swedish Police Department’s website
